The start of the Point-to-Point season gets underway at Black Forest Lodge on Sunday.
Another bumper entry means there will be seven races with the first underway at 11am.
Point-to-Point enthusiasts will be watching out for eye-catching new talent for the season ahead, as young Novice horses take their place in the first Maiden race run over 2m4f. There are two divisions with 19 in each, which have been kindly sponsored by Brightwells.
The Club Members race follows, and among the 11 entries is Timeshift, a course winner here last year who went on to have several more wins. Light Touch and Pastek are also talented horses to note.
The Restricted has attracted 20 entries, again with plenty of promising types set to line up including Call Me Sir, Comanche Chief, Hard To Tell and Tachbury.
There are 16 runners entered in the Mixed open, which this year has been kindly sponsored by Stratton Parker. Divine Intavention, Lulumar, Pastek and Petit Lord could be there helping stage a thrilling race to please the crowd, in this season's opening race meeting.
Two divisions of the Open Maiden are sure to provide plenty of excitement, and it will be interesting to see what the bookies favourites are out of the many entries.
With its natural amphitheatre contours, and surrounded by stunning autumn colours, viewing is exceptional at the track. Going at the course has been described earlier this week as GOOD. Access to the course is easy and there will be trade stands, a bar, bookies and catering.
Entrance is £20 per car or £10 per car with a single occupant. The course is located at Kenton near Exeter off the A380, postcode EX6 8NW.
