The British Horseracing Authority have asked us to point out a change to the regulation regarding Riders' Body Protectors.
The BHA would like to draw attention to the fact that body protectors which conform to EN 13158:2010 have now been approved for Point-to-Pointing. This is in addition to the approved standards listed in the Regulations book under Appendix O, namely (BS) EN 13158:2000 and EN 13158: 2009
However, please note that body protectors may not be modified in any way or attached to the horse or any equipment carried by the horse.
