PICAROON: amongst Ladies Open possibles

The Brecon & Talybont Point-to-Point at Llanfrynach on Saturday sees the start of the South Wales and Monmouthshire Hunt racing season.

149 Entries have been received and with top class horses such as Chesnut Annie, Cannon Bridge, Picaroon, Back In Business and City Affair entered an exciting afternoon's racing is promised.

Racing gets under way at 1.00pm with the Members race, for which there are seven Entries.

Seven races are planned but with 36 down to run in the first division of the Open Maiden and 26 in the second division there could be a further split on the day.

Llanfrynach nestles in the foot hills of the beautiful Brecon Beacons and those racegoers who don't want to view the racing from a natural bank can get closer to the action from the centre of the course.
