Southwestern can open his seasonal account in the Cattistock Mens Open on Sunday.

The Horse & Hound Cup winner is a Littlewindsor specialist - he won this race last year - and is the obvious favourite if connections decide to give him an outing before a third tilt at the Punchestown Champion Hunter Chase later in April.

Challengers include Come What Augustus, who is unbeaten in three outings this season, but Pimbury impressed when he sprinted clear of his rivals at Ottery St Mary and looks the main danger.

Ask Again and Coombe Hill fought out the finish of the Mendip Farmers Ladies Open on Sunday and could renew rivalry in Sunday's equivalent contest. Polly Gundry has a strong hand with Dr Cerullo and Carrie On, who beat Southwestern fair and square, albeit in receipt of a stone at Ottery St Mary. King Georges and stable companions Barneys Mate and Brown Cockle have chances, but Ask Again will get the vote if making a quick reappearance.

Pimbury and 2008 winner Brown Cockle are among the eight entered for the Hunt Members race. Hollow Star, who held off the consistent King Of The Road at Milborne St Andrew, Badbury winner My Minds Maid and Buckfastleigh winner Irish Vixen catch the eye, but Pimbury and Brown Cockle are the two to choose from.

Come What Augustus and Dr Cerullo hold entries in a competitive-looking Novice Riders race. Course winner Kings Wood, Mulligan's Pet - Polly Gundry's record-equalling 287th winner at Wadebridge - and Spanchil Hill, a debut winner for Philip Prince at Larkhill, have chances, although Charlton Horethorne winner Tallow Bridge may find Littlewindsor too testing.Royal Auclair disappointed at Charlton Horethorne, but may outstay El Hombre Del Rio.

My Minds Maid, Irish Vixen and Master Flight are the three suggestions for the 21-Entry Restricted race. Two Maiden races complete the card; Family Guy may be one to consider for the 2m4f contest. Mad King Oskar can get off the mark in the 3 mile event.

Racing is preceded at 1.00pm by two Pony Races, qualifiers for the Wessex Series Final at Larkhill on 30th May.

The course lies off the A3066 between Beaminster and Crewkerne. First race: 2.00pm (1.00pm Pony Racing).

Admission is £20 per car for 4 adults (plus £5 per additional adult). Single occupancy £10. Pedestrians £5. Children under 16 free.
