Following the cancellation of the West Somerset Vale meeting in April, officials at Cothelstone have been working hard to ensure the course is ready for the popular Weston & Banwell Harriers evening fixture in a week and a half.
Wessex Area Secretary Rachel Stamp said on Sunday 6th May:
"Following the cancellation of the West Somerset Vale Point to Point at Cothelstone on Sunday 15th April, please note that the ground has been reinstated, all the fences have been moved to the outside of the course to create a new racing line. The going is currently good to soft, but with high pressure forecast for the weekend, organisers hope to achieve good ground by Wednesday. Entries close 9.00 pm this Wednesday 9th May 2012."
