16 March 2011 Preview: Hurworth - Hutton Rudby
123 Entries have been received for the Hurworth Hunt Point-to-Point which takes place on Saturday 19th March at Skutterskelfe Park, Hutton Rudby.
There are seven races as the Open Maiden race has been divided at Entry stage and the first race, the Hurworth Hunt Members race is due off at 1.00 pm. At the end of the day, a cup will be presented to the leading Rider of the day.Admission is £10 per person and the course has excellent viewing as it is located at the bottom of the car park hill.
It is quite a twisty course, the start is in the middle of the course and the first fence is only jumped once in each race. The runners only cross the finish line once as the finish is a chute which goes uphill after the last fence. The postcode for satellite navigation is TS15 0JL.
