The Hurworth Point-to-Point takes place at Hutton Rudby on Saturday 20th March. 161 Entries have been received for the seven-race card and the Open Maiden Race has already been split.

The Hunt Members race has 13 Entries and with four of these coming from the Tutty yard they have a very good chance of taking the cup home.

The Restricted has received 18 Entries and Brother Mark, who won his Maiden at Corbridge on Sunday, should progress from there although this race might come a bit too quickly for him, so it could go the way of Sea Senor, who won a division of the Maiden at the Derwent meeting on 7th March.

A very competitive Ladies Open has attracted a large number of Entries. Blandings Castle was in great form last season and won this race, but his biggest challenge could come from Wilfie Wild who ran a blinding race at the Holderness on Sunday to finish second to Poppy Day on his first run of the season.

The Confined race has 34 Entries and looks to be a very open race, with Brize Norton having finished runner-up in two of these contests so far this season, as well as Knoxhill Archie who found the winning way last season when notching up a double and will have come on from his run at the Derwent.

The postcode for satellite navigation is TS15 0JL and entry is £8 per person.
