ENGLAND BOUND: Lorna (left) and Jane are making excellent progress on their epic cycle journey
Lorna Brooke and Jane Williams are now well on their way to Land's End (see News, 13 July). Having set out from John O'Groats on Monday, they have travelled over 100 miles each day, and despite feeling a bit tired and stiff, Jane reports their spirits to be high.
They should reach England today (Thursday), and are keeping their fingers crossed for better road surfaces!
They are pictured at Hamilton Racecourse, where they were spending Wednesday night.
