The South Devon Hunts Club and Harkaway Club meetings provided some welcome respite from leftover turkey sandwiches and writing thank you cards - and with 17 races between the two meetings, there were also plenty of opportunities for photographers to capture the action.
The image on the left is of the 2011 AGA Ladies' Hunter Chase final winners Billyvoddan and Jane Williams after a triumphant seasonal debut; it was taken by Julie Drewett.
