Rider Jody Sole, who had his first experience of race-riding in the Troop race, is aiming to raise over £1000 for the Army Benevolent fund.
Former Lance Bombadier Sole is hoping to ride in three races at Sandown on Friday, 12th March - a two mile Hurdle, the Grand Military Gold Cup Chase and the Queen Mother Memorial Hunter Chase.
Sole, who hopes to be wearing breeches bearing the ABF logo, has already received offers of sponsorship per each fence or hurdle that he jumps - be it for one race or all three - which has inspired his page on the charity website Just Giving.
With every little helping him towards his aim of £1000 - or more - anyone who wishes to help can visit Jody's page http://www.justgiving.com/Jody-Sole.
