07 May 2010 Landmark: Kelly Bryson
by Carolyn Tanner
Kelly Bryson's Handicap Chase on Minouchka at Kelso on Wednesday brought up her career half-century, 46 of which have been in Point-to-Points.
Kelly, who works for Simon and Philippa Shirley-Beavan, broke her collarbone in a fall at Friars Haugh at the end of March and only returned to the saddle at Mosshouses on Sunday. She rode her first winner on Junior Des Ormeaux at Whittington in 2005.
Minouchka, successful nine times between the flags in addition to her four victories under Rules, goes out on a high note. She has been retired and is due to be covered by Indian Danehill.
