07 January 2010 Lydstep Postpone, Higham & Wadebridge Re-Arrange

The freezing weather conditions that are currently gripping the country have claimed the entire weekend's Point-to-Point fixture list.
Earlier in the week, officials at a frozen Barbury Racecourse decided to postpone the two-day Point-to-Point Owners and Riders Club fixture a week, to January 16th & 17th.
Meanwhile, news came through on Wednesday night that the North Cornwall Foxhounds at Wadebridge are postponing, while Thursday morning we learnt that the two fixtures postponed from last weekend - the North Norfolk Harriers at Higham and the West Wales Area Club at Lydstep - have also succumbed to the Arctic conditions.
The North Cornwall at Wadebridge will now take place on Saturday January 23rd with Entries standing, while the North Norfolk will try for a third time on Saturday January 16th, also with Entries standing. The West Wales Area Club are also actively seeking a new date, and we will bring you any further news as soon as we have it.
