Leading Northern rider Mikey Ennis has spread his wings and moved south to join Sarah Humphrey's yard near Newmarket.

Mikey, who made his debut between the flags only three seasons ago, was runner-up for the Northern area title in 2009/10 and also finished third in the National Novice championship behind Tom Cannon and Joe Tickle, riding ten winners from just 35 rides.

He is looking to pick up rides in his new area, but at the same time is not forsaking his roots. He will be heading north on various weekends during the campaign to ensure that he stays loyal to the owners and trainers who supported him so well last season.

The Links training ground is always a hive of activity prior to the start of Point-to-Pointing, and Mikey is available to school most mornings. He can be contacted on 07881 425224, and also via Facebook.

He is also hoping for more rides under Rules, and is now on the books of one of the country's leading agents, Sam Stronge.
