Magicien: set to line up in a cracking Mens Open

The North Shropshire Hunt have attracted a bumper entry of 164 for their meeting at Eyton-on-Severn this Easter Monday, March 24th 2008. Racing comes under starter's orders at 1.00pm and is set to conclude at 4.40pm.

Admission to this popular Shropshire course, which has been racing since 1923 is only £25 per car regardless of the number of passengers, which represents good value for money, single occupancy will be charged at £15. As well as a good days racing in prospect there is also the fair for the younger generation, and for the grown ups there is an abundance of trade stands.

One of the feature races on the card is the Volkswagen Touareg Men's Open, the first two horses past the judge qualify for the Volkswagen Touareg Men's Championship Hunter Chase Final at Towcester racecourse on Monday, May 12th 2008. Among the entries are the Julie Kinsey trained Would Wouldn't, who is a fair pointer, the In The Tiff gelding dead heated with Lord of The Hollow, in a hunter chase at Huntingdon last month. With the likes of Whistling Straits, Magicien, Jakari, Adams Wine and Ballylusky in the line up, it looks a good race in prospect.
