by Charlotte Brader

A total of 86 entries have been received for the Pendle Forest and Craven Hunt Point-to-Point on Sunday 1st May. Racing starts at 2.00pm with the Hunt Members Race.

The Point-to-Point Owners and Riders Association Club Members Conditions Race is confined to Novice riders. Stagecoach Diamond had been running consistently this year but Tank Buster will be hard to beat.

Sam Drake is looking for more points in the Yorkshire Area Leading Lady Jockey competition and Keeverfield could oblige in the Ladies Open, although Poppy Day, who is coming back to form, could make this hard work.

The Sovereign Healthcare Restricted race is confined to horses that have qualified by being placed in the first six in any restricted race in the Yorkshire area this season. Forge Valley, who won at Charm Park on Monday, could continue his winning ways and take this as well.

The biggest field of the day is likely to be the Open Maiden race which has received 28 entries.

Admission is £25 per car and £10 for single occupancy. The team are watering the course with the aim of providing good ground to encourage lots of runners. The postcode for satellite navigation is BD23 3AB and it will be signed "Skipton Races".
