25 February 2008 Ross Harriers - Garnons
The Ross Harriers Point-to-Point fixture, this Sunday (2nd) at Garnons, has attracted 122 entries, making a minimum of 7-races on what looks likely to be a very competitive card.
The picturesque parkland is always a popular venue for spectators, so will be best to set out in good time for the first race at 1 pm.
There will be two maiden events, the PPORA Mares Only, and the Confined ‘Young Horse' maiden to be run over two and a half miles. There will also be an Intermediate event for novice riders.
The attractive course (HR4 7JU) can be found at Byford, 8 miles west of Hereford on the A438.
