Point-to-point racing is scheduled for next Sunday 8 February at Tweseldown. However, the chances of avoiding a third successive loss of racing at the Hampshire course are slim.
"There is a 10 inch covering of snow on frozen ground," said course manager Brynley Powell on Tuesday. "The weather forecast is not encouraging and it would need a miracle to make the course fit for racing."
Possibilities of rearranging the meeting are being discussed. The cancelled January fixture has been scheduled for Sunday 26 April.
