DIVINE INTAVENTION
Sue Wilson, whose Divine Intavention is unbeaten in two races this season, died at the weekend. She had been unwell for some time and had been too ill to watch her horse run at Ampton.
Sue, who was related to the great Fred Winter and rode out for him when he was training, enjoyed many successes with her Pointers, the highlight being the victory of James Pine in the Colin Nash Memorial Hunter Chase at Cheltenham in 2008.
Sue's son Hugh will continue to campaign the horses, with James Pine a likely runner at Horseheath on Saturday, while the target for Divine Intavention could be the Connolly's Red Mills Intermediate Championship at Cheltenham in May.
