12 April 2011 Tweseldown offers reduced admission

by Point-to-Point Racing Company Ltd Staff

Officials at the Tweseldown Racing Club meeting this Sunday have made the decision to offer reduced admission prices to the public, in light of the low number of entries received.

Steven Astaire, meeting Chairman, states:

Due to the firm ground, we only have received entries from only 37 horses, and have decided to make a gesture to the public by cutting our entry fee 50% to £10 per car (including the driver) and £5 for every extra adult, Under 16's are free.

The going is currently Firm, with a Good to Firm patch between the Open Ditch and the Cutting. The course has been rolled and mown since the March meeting and there is fresh ground on all the bends, with a good covering of grass. The run-troughs' are being slit and watered.
