Bering Gifts: entered in the Ladies' Open
After saddling Bon Accord to finish runner-up in the Christie's Foxhunters in front of more than 60,000 racegoers at last week's Cheltenham Festival, trainer Alan Hill returns to the more modest surroundings of Kimble Point-to-Point course on Saturday.
The Aston Rowant handler saw Bon Accord, with James Tudor on board, come home a gallant second to Amicelli at Cheltenham but will be hoping to go one better with at least one of his entries in Saturday's Vale of Aylesbury with Garth & South Berks meeting.
Bering Gifts, who won at Kingston Blount earlier this month, lines up in the Ladies Open at Kimble, where he won the Members race at last year's fixture. Veteran stablemate Mr Splodge is also entered in the Ladies Open, while To The Top, who helped to provide Hill with a double at Kingston Blount, has an entry in the Confined.
Hill is certainly a trainer in-form, with 13 wins from his 26 runners so far this campaign.
The first two home in last year's Confined at Kimble, Half Inch and Monty's Island, are set to line up again in Saturday's renewal.
In the Mens Open, the prolific Irilut will be looking for yet another victory for Banbury handler Robert Waley-Cohen. Irilut won the Mens Open at Kimble last year, with success over Gunther McBride, who also holds an entry in Saturday's feature race.
Irilut's latest success ‘between the flags' came at the Bicester with Whaddon Chase meeting at Dunthrop earlier this month and he went on to win a hunter chase at Stratford last week.
The first of six races at Kimble, which lies between Chinnor and Aylesbury on the B4009, is 1pm.
