SHEKNOWSYOUKNOW: Mixed Open possible

The first of two South Midland Area Point-to-Points this weekend takes place at Siddington, two miles south of Cirencester, postcode GL7 7DE.
First race on the card is at 1.30pm and is the Hunt Members; local Trainer / Rider Peter Mason will be aiming to start the day off well and if Comrade Bob lines up he may well prove hard to beat. Three Owner / Trainer / Riders will be seeking first wins; Annabel Roberts aboard Lord Gunnerslake, Lawrence Gill with Landi Beau and Laura Thomas with Aitchjayem.
A small field is likely in the Mixed Open and Michael Hawker will be hoping his mare Sheknowsyouknow can continue winning ways; she will as usual be ridden by Mark Wall. Interesting Entries include Overlut who is proven a class act at this grade, Alan Hills consistent More Trouble and Niver Bai who won a similar event at Thorpe Lodge earlier this season.
The Confined Conditions race looks as if it could be a very competitive race should they all turn up. Entries include recent Didmarton winner Le Millenaire who is likely to be partnered by either Adrian Wintle or his wife Hannah, while Ghonny Withthebowe and Ice Cool Benny both have placed form this season and it would be no surprise to see either of them in the winners enclosure. Others of interest are Ned The Post who is ultra consistent and Rustic John who won the Open at Larkhill last weekend.
The Wilesmiths' Gallant Lad looks the pick of the Maiden race, he has placed from behind the useful Jacalou who has since gone on to win her Restricted. Others to note are Beths Star, Dante Wager and Sueski.
There will be tradestands and hot / cold food available. Admission costs are £15 per car, £10 car and driver and £5 pedestrians.
