The Point-to-Point Executive at the British Horseracing Authority has released another statement in light of the further amendments to the whip regulations under Rules.
"The BHA will not be making alterations to the new whip restrictions or associated penalties introduced for Point-to-Pointing despite the recent changes made under Rules. The paper "Improper Use of the Whip: Restrictions and Penalties Applicable to Point-to-Pointing 2011/12", enclosed with all copies of Point-to-Point Regulations, remains applicable.
Therefore whip use in Point-to-Pointing will continue to be strictly monitored, policed and penalties enforced as previously directed.
The new whip restrictions can be found in the Owners and Riders sections of the National Point-to-Point website (http://www.pointtopoint.co.uk/owners-and-riders.html).
