The consistent Coombe Hill can deservedly end a six-race losing sequence in the Wilton Ladies Open at Badbury Rings on Saturday.

Runner-up to the impressive Dualla Lord at Charlton Horethorne, with Saturday's Larkhill winner Preacher Boy 20 lengths in arrears, the former Coronation Cup winner is selected to get the better of Midlands raider Beet De Bob, who is ideally suited to the speedy Badbury Rings track. Armoury House, runner-up to Miss Midnight here in February, along with course specialist Silver Monarch look the strongest challengers.

Silver Monarch is among the 10 Entries for the Mens Open, along with Rowdy Yeats, a winner on the corresponding card last season. Touch Of Flame, Trade Off and Woodbridge Quest are all suited to Badbury Rings and are three to choose from.

Pastek, the runner-up in the 2010 contest, heads the six Entries for the Hunt race. Lady Tallula was runner-up at Larkhill, but Tea Caddy, who has fallen in her two outings to date, may be a sporting alternative.

Russian Rain made a winning debut here in 2010 and could reappear in the Restricted. The Entries include Classical Rocker and Merry Terry, the winners of the two Maiden divisions here in February, as well as John Daniell, a fine runner-up in the Restricted on the same card. Merry Terry couldn't cope with The Slug at Charlton Horethorne, but can fight out the finish with John Daniell.

Kayley Jones opened her riding account on Kilrogan at Treborough Hill and the pair will be supported to double up in the PPORA Club Members race. Alpha Native has not won since a pleasing reappearance at Wadebridge in December, but is selected to resume winning ways.

Faneuil Hall made a promising debut here in February and can reward the Symonds family in the closing Maiden contest.

The course lies 4 miles NW of Wimborne on the B3082. First race: 1.00pm. Admission is to either of two car parks at £25 or £15 per car, with a discount for single occupants.
