A career which began with a victory on his initial ride, on Double Rich in the 2002 Middleton Members' race, ended for 28-year-old Thomas Greenall in a blaze of glory at Garthorpe on Sunday when he won the 3m Maiden on Crazy Chester to take his winning tally to 267, just three short of the total achieved by his father Peter (Lord Daresbury).
