109 entries have been received for the Brecon & Talybont Hunt Point-to-Point Steeplechases at Tyfry, Llanfrynach on Saturday, where the racing can be viewed from a natural grandstand.

Racing gets under way with the Hunt members race (7 entries) at 1pm; Richard Mathias, who has entered Make Room and Writ Of Right, might provide the answer.

Gwyn Phillips' Books Review has recent winner The Snail and Carrick Oscar to beat in the Confined, for which there are 14 entries.

There are 12 down to run in the Mens Open and these include last year's winner Minsgills Man, Silver Story, Makena, Rosie's Peacock and Bob Bites Back.

Of the 15 down to run in the Ladies Open, Beth Roberts's prolific Chesnut Annie has Picaroon and Baren de Doc to beat.

Recent Howick winners Udeman and Molan Labe could face Superman De La Rue in the restricted (20 entries), while Alcarson and Glenseskin look the pick of Division 1 of the Maiden (20 entries).

There are 19 entries in Division 2 and these include Icansingarainbow, who might prove too good for Midnight Case and Old Jere.
